Bosch

Bosch offer 1 year standard warranty from date of purchase on machines

Extension to the warranty is available for all tools, lithium-ion batteries or chargers, when registered online within 4 weeks of purchase. 

2 year warranty for batteries and chargers

Covering all blue Bosch Lithium-ion batteries and chargers. If a fault occurs on a registered battery or charger due to material, manufacturing fault or to wear - Bosch will send you a replacement unit.

3 year warranty for machines

This covers all blue Bosch power tools and measuring instruments. The warranty however excludes high frequency tools, production cordless screwdrivers and pneumatic tools, supplied accessories, battery packs and chargers.

If your product requires repaired, you will be asked to fill out the Bosch Collection Form. Bosch will collect your product and return it to you as soon as possible.

Bostitch offer 1 year standard warranty from date of purchase on machines

If your Bostitch product becomes defective due to faulty materials or workmanship within 12 months from the date of purchase, Bostitch guarantees to replace all defective parts free of charge or – at their discretion – replace the unit free of charge provided that:

  • The product has not been misused;
  • The product has been subject to fair wear and tear; Driver blades, bumpers, and O rings are considered normally wearing parts and are excluded
  • Repairs have not been attempted by unauthorised persons;
  • Proof of purchase is produced.
  • The product is returned complete with all original components
  • The product is returned at your expense together with proof of purchase to our regional repair centre, or an authorised warranty centre

Please note 1.5Ah, 2.0Ah & 3.0Ah Lithium-Ion batteries are not covered by the warranty. This also applies for Cordless Gas Nailers and promotional lines

If your product requires repaired, you will be asked to find the nearest Service Agent - Hitachi Service Agent. Hitachi's service agents will arrange collection and repair for your product. Hitachi will only raise one collection for your product, if this collection is missed any other collections will be charged to the customer.

Makita

Makita offer 1 year standard warranty from date of purchase on machines

3 Year Warranty

Warranty excludes batteries, chargers, accessories, petrol products and air tools.

Should the product develop any faults during its first year of use, due to defective workmanship or materials, it can be packaged (complete) and freight paid by the customer to either an approved Authorised Service Agent or to Makita (UK) Ltd in Milton Keynes.

Subject to inspection, the product will be repaired free of charge.

This guarantee does not apply where:

  • Repairs have been made or attempted by others.
  • Repairs are required because of normal wear and tear.
  • The tool has been abused, misused or improperly maintained.
  • Alterations have been made to the tool.
  • Non-genuine or recommended parts or accessories are fitted to the tool(s).
